Criccieth (Welsh Cricieth) is a town and community on Cardigan Bay, in the Eifionydd area of Gwynedd in Wales. The town lies 5Â miles (8Â km) west of Porthmadog, 9Â miles (14Â km) east of Pwllheli and 17Â miles (27Â km) south of Caernarfon. It has a population of 1,826.[1]
